The Captain

Since I've been a New York Yankee fan my entire life, I was saddened to hear that Derek Jeter announced his retirement. While his skill level has diminished, and more recently, his health has taken a downturn, I can't help but wish he'd continue. He exudes  confidence without the obnoxious braggadocio common among today's modern athlete. He's a winner sans the attitude. Even his choice of launching a publishing company to prepare for a career after baseball speaks volumes about the man.

Good luck, Derek! I'll be routing for your continued success. It's been a pleasure being a Yankee fan during your tenure.
